Danse Theatre Surreality's Persephone Winter/Spring is a bilingual dance-poetry duet created and performed by Lauren Hlubny and Kyra Hauck. Inspired by the myth of Persephone, the work moves through winter and spring, grief and renewal, descent and return. With contemporary dance, boxing-inspired movement, and poetry in English and French, the duet creates an intimate world from minimal materials. Doors open at 12:00 PM on Sunday, July 12, 2026, with Persephone at 12:30 PM and a Community Poetry Open Mic before and after, hosted by Ron Torres. Free and open to the public.
