The Hairpin Arts Center invites you to our weekly Lyrics & Libations Open Mic Showcase. Come mingle, network, explore the talents of local artists, and seize the opportunity to showcase your own skills. We provide a welcoming and inclusive space where artists of all ages, genders, and artistic styles can come together to showcase their creativity and connect with others in the community.

Here’s everything you need to know about performing at Lyrics & Libations Open Mic Showcase.
To secure your performance slot, make sure to purchase your entry ticket through Eventbrite ahead of time. When purchasing your ticket, you'll be asked to provide your name, email, and phone number. We'll use this information to send you any photos and videos taken during your performance. Additionally, feel free to provide your social media handle, which we'll display while you perform.
Upon arrival, head to the front desk to check in. Our staff will ensure your name is added to the performance roster. Performances are scheduled on a first-come, first-perform basis. To secure your spot in the lineup, we recommend checking in early. Before your performance, our experienced sound technicians will be available near the front of the stage. Take this opportunity to discuss your song preferences and any technical requirements to ensure a seamless performance.
Feel free to showcase up to two songs or acts before 9:30 PM. Each performance should ideally last between 3 to 7 minutes. After 9:30 PM, performers are kindly asked to limit themselves to one song or act. These guidelines help ensure that everyone has a chance to shine.

Vendors
If you're interested in becoming a vendor for our open mic event, please purchase a ticket on Eventbrite. Set-up times are from 7 PM to 7:30 PM. You're welcome to bring any necessary equipment for your booth, although tables will be provided. Please note that distribution of drugs or weapons of any kind will result in an immediate ban and forfeiture of ticket fees.
